About Me
Hi there, I’m Kathy, a pet parent to now 3 wonderful boys, (Max RIP), Milo, Milton, and Murphy - a carkie, chiweenie, and morkie respectively. They are my world, as all animals are in my life!
I was in the hospitality industry for years and then the automotive industry for a decade or so after that and always knew that was never my passion. I loved my boys and couldn't imagine being without them ovI quit the 9-5 world back in 2018 to follow my passion for animals and build websites (KLW Designs). I had the luxury of working from home and spent all day with my boys and I couldn't be happier! Then I started thinking, how can I spend even more time with fur friends and make a living at it? Then it hit me - I can be a dog walker!!!
So with that, I quickly signed up on Rover, took some background checks and courses to ensure my animal care skills and knowledge base were up to par and that I qualified for the job. Clearly, my 30+ years of being a pet owner and animal lover were about to pay off.
I started Kathy’s Pupper Doodles, a Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service in 2019, and absolutely love it!! I have met so many wonderful fur babies and their amazing humans and it’s been a great experience. I work with dogs of all sizes and breeds and have no hesitations.
